The five-sheet Clover Chacopy Tracing Paper pack in blue, green, red, white, and yellow is an essential tool for tracing patterns on fabrics. This premium, single-sided, chalk-based carbon transfer paper pack is widely regarded as a key tool for sewing, quilting, Sashiko, and embroidery. Copy pattern markings, darts, or detailed illustrations directly onto fabric. Lines remain crisp thanks to chalk pigments. Blue, Green, Red (or Pink), White, and Yellow. Choose contrasting line colors for your fabrics—such as white or yellow for darks, and blue or red for lights.
Designed to use less loose powder than traditional carbon paper, it keeps your fingers clean and stops chalk from smudging across your fabric during handling. Water soluble; mist the area with water from a spray bottle or dab it with a damp cloth to make the lines disappear completely. Reusable; trace over repeatedly before the sheet loses its pigmentation. Each sheet measures 12 inches by 10 inches (30 cm x 25 cm).
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place the fabric on cutting mat or pad.
2. Lay the Chacopy Tracing Paper between the fabric and the pattern and trace the design lines with a tracer.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
TO REMOVE LINES: Apply a fine mist from a spray bottle or gently dab the area with a damp cloth so the lines fade entirely.
DO NOT IRON TRANSFER LINES: Avoid pressing fabric with a hot iron while Chacopy marks remain visible. The iron’s heat can lock the chalk pigment into the fibers, preventing removal during washing.
ALWAYS TEST FIRST: Before grading your primary project, test a small piece of your fashion fabric by drawing a short line with the paper and confirming it clears completely through spraying or washing. Highly synthetic or textured materials may hold onto pigments.
